Many of us have busy lives. We work, cook, clean, shop, etc. We make plans to start meditating. We make plans to relax, clear our minds and take a break from our busy lives. NOW is the time. Stop putting off activities that are good for your health and well being. Meditation gives your mind a chance to connect to your higher self, to God, the Divine or what ever you consider the higher power. It gives the mind a rest from the constant thinking and worrying we may do on a daily basis. Meditation relieves stress. It opens your mind to receive information from your mental faculties and guide you to reach your goals. It connects you to others. Once you start meditating, you’ll notice others seeing you in a more loving way.

Meditation can be deep breathing. Take slow deep breaths in and out while sitting. With every breath, become more relaxed. Meditation can be visualizing what you want to manifest in your life. Another good meditation is when you sit quietly and continue to clear thoughts out of your mind until you mind is still. When a thought comes up watch it float away in a cloud. Continue the exercise for 5 to 10 minutes.

Choose a time of day that you want to start. You can meditate on your lunch break, after work, or before work. When ever you can take a few minutes to 10 minutes a day to meditate, Just Do It!
