On Sunday, May 25, 2014, I woke up feeling sad over the loss of a friend. I started with my usual routine of meditation, then decided that I was going to go to the Summerland Church of Light. Summerland is a spiritualist church that teaches spirituality and mediumship. I am a member and I give workshops there. I haven’t attended the church for months.
Because it was Memorial day, the service focused on the military veterans and the meaning of Memorial day. After the service, one of the mediums, Frank gave me a message that came from my great grand father that passed away in 1942. I never knew him. The message he sent was that he was grateful that I was mentoring a young man and teaching him about spiritualism. That statement is true. I am mentoring a young man, named Dion. He also said that he was a military veteran and he appreciates the healings that I give to military veterans. That statement is also true. Frank then mentioned that my great-grandfather always wore the best quality clothing. I think my great-grandfather came to to me to cheer me up. A member of the church, Susan, approached me when I was leaving and told me she visualized a lion pacing back and forth in front of me. I was thrilled to hear this because I knew the lion was an animal spirit that was hanging around me. The lion came to me to give me strength. We all have animal spirit guides or animal totems. (For more information on animal spirits or if you want to know your animal totem, contact me at 631-582-4933)
When I left church I felt so uplifted and in a great good mood. I am so grateful for the messages I received. I was at the right place at the right time. I called my father to validate the message from my great-grandfather. My father said the information about my great grandfather was true. My father also mentioned that his grand, my great-grand was a Mason and a powerful and popular man. His funeral service was overflowing with people from all over the United States. My animal spirit, the lion signifies strength, bravery and courage. All of the military veterans that served and died for our country and all of the veterans that are serving in the military right now are brave, strong and courageous, like the lion. I have more respect for the veterans than I had before. The messages were just what I needed. Let’s all affirm “I am always at the right place at the right time.”
